The Link3D product is a synchronous Computer-Supported Collaborative Work (CSCW) software specifically aimed to professionals working in the area of Drug Discovery and Development (DD&D). 

The CSCW software produced is superior to state-of-the-art software currently available in the market in a number of aspects. In particular, it aims to be far more adapted to the users needs and expertise, as well as to the specific working environment of the drug discovery area.

The Link3D application (Link3D) consists of a set of computer programs easy to install and use in the supported platforms: MS-Windows, Linux and SGI-IRIX. The fact that Link3D can run and interoperate in diverse platforms is one of the most important Link3D features, since this allows interaction from every computer where the data is generated and where the decisions are taken. An extensive survey showed that at least these three platforms were required to provide a wide coverage of the platforms used in drug discovery and development.
